In Ubongo, players compete to solve individual puzzles as quickly as possible in order to get the first gems within reach.
The game board consists of six rows, with twelve gems (of different colors) placed in these rows. At the start of the game, each player places his pawn in front of one of these rows. Each player also takes twelve polyominoes, that is, pieces made up of 2 to 5 squares in a certain configuration; Players use these pieces each turn to try to recreate shapes.
