Merchant's Bay is a highly asymmetrical management game in which each player takes on the role of a specific merchant with a unique shop. Merchants compete to sell their wares to adventurers arriving at the city's docks, home to the most famous markets in the Five Kingdoms. Each player uses their own set of components (equipment and board) and game mechanics specific to their role to produce their goods, increase the efficiency of their shop, develop their team and, above all, become rich!

Although merchants work independently in their specialist shops, they compete with each other to attract customers, influence demand for goods and obtain sponsorship from the four faction halls. To gain an advantage, merchants can employ local townsfolk to work in their shops as staff. And if they dare, they can take advantage of the corrupt den of thieves - but at what price?

After three days of market sales, the richest merchant will be declared King of the Merchants!
