Saltfjord is set in a Norwegian fishing village and is loosely based on the dice-drawing mechanics of "Santa Maria", but the game has been completely rethought and expanded with new elements.
To add to replayability, the game features many variable elements in the setup, such as special abilities and available final score tiles.
