The T-70 X-wing fighter is an updated version of the classic T-65B X-wing fighter manufactured for the New Republic Starfleet. More expensive and more complex than the older T-65B, the T-70 featured advanced armament and proved to be more versatile than its predecessor. It has proven essential in dogfights and capital ship scale combat operations. Appropriate S-sails allowed for greater firing range, while four KX12 laser cannons offered single, double, and quadruple firing modes. An integrated dual proton torpedo launcher with quick-change magazines allows the use of alternate armaments.
