"We are living in an era where digital technology is becoming increasingly important not only in society but also in the classroom. It is important that play still has a place in education, as it allows children to stimulate their creativity, develop their ability to cooperate, and learn to follow rules. In fact, an article published in Pediatrics (2018) by three pediatricians and two psychologists highlights all the benefits of play for children’s development. They cite the development of executive functions, language, social skills, and motor skills. That is why you will find games of all kinds in this guide. Additionally, by consulting the notes for teachers that I’ve added below each game, you’ll see how they contribute to learning.

In collaboration with La Ribouldingue, I’m proud to present the 8th edition of the educational guide. At the store, we all believe in the power of play, and we’ve been delighted to update this guide year after year since 2018. It includes 360 suggestions for all grade levels, including sections for more specific needs. Each game is categorized under the most appropriate grade level. However, some games from a lower grade level may be just as suitable for your students."
