Kyoto No Koneko : Chatons cache-cache - Microgame (Fr)

Kyoto No Koneko: Kittens Hide and Seek (Koneko = Kitten) is a microgame for young children and the whole family.

Players face a 4x4 grid of cards, on which they can only see pairs of eyes meant to indicate the number of kittens they’ll find if they decide to flip them over. On their turn, a player reveals a Mission (cards shaped like cat heads) that tells them the exact number of kittens they must reveal.

The trick? The number of pairs of eyes on the front doesn’t necessarily match the number of kittens on the back. Some kittens have their eyes closed, or two kittens might wink and sit side by side, forming just a single pair of eyes!

This will trick the players around the table, who won’t always be able to trust what they see on the front of the cards, and there will be plenty of surprises when the chosen card is revealed!
