Innovation: Ultimate Edition is a box set containing Innovation and its five expansions, including a brand-new expansion titled The Unseen, as well as expert rules for playing with more than 4 players.

Numerous updates have been made to this edition. First, Age 11 has been added, representing the recent past and the potential near future at the time of release. Many aspects of the language and mechanics have been simplified, and in particular, the expansions have all been significantly reworked to be more accessible and easier to incorporate into the game.

Innovation is a card-driven journey through humanity’s ideas and advancements from prehistory to the 21st century. Each Innovation has its own card, with a unique ability that will advance a player’s civilization—and perhaps disrupt the plans of others! The basic rules are easy to learn, and the complexity arises from the endless possible interactions made possible by all their various powers.
