The setting is during the maple syrup season in Quebec. On this beautiful Sunday in April, hundreds of people came to enjoy the pleasures of maple at the La Lichette sugar shack. At the end of the day, after indulging in maple treats to the point of clogging their arteries, everyone left. The employees started cleaning the large dining room, where maple syrup flowed freely and was as sticky as a beehive. It was at this moment that a corpse was discovered. The body of a woman was found dead between two piles of firewood at the back of the building. As the body and blood were not frozen, you deduced that the murder occurred within the last few minutes. An employee called the owner of the sugar shack, who requested that no one leaves the premises. She wants the culprit to be found quickly to avoid tarnishing the reputation of her sugar bush.
