Forest Shuffle - Dartmoor (En)

The new standalone game in the Forest Mixte universe!

The game mechanics remain the same: you draw two cards (which are beautifully illustrated, by the way) or play a card in your moorland landscape. Players compete to collect the most valuable trees, shrubs, and terrain cards—to attract species, thereby creating an ecologically balanced habitat for flora and fauna.

A new type of card enters the game with the terrain cards: this allows for a variety of terrain cards (unlike trees and shrubs) that are played horizontally.

Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor introduces several changes:

• A new type of card is introduced with terrain cards: this adds variety
• Terrain cards (unlike trees and shrubs) are played horizontally. They clearly serve as a source of sustenance or foraging ground for a different type of species than trees or shrubs.
• New species with unique abilities and bonus actions
• Caves come with asymmetrical starting conditions and are drawn at the beginning
• Reduction to 6 (instead of 8) tree symbols to activate bonuses more easily
