It's the 21st century and CATAN is at a crossroads. The agrarian society of the island's Viking ancestors is long gone. Today's Catanians need energy to keep society moving and thriving. Catanians face a crucial choice: spend resources to make their energy greener, or continue with cheaper fossil fuels and risk catastrophic consequences for the island.
