Châteaux de Bourgogne is a legendary board game created by Stefan Feld. In this tabletop game for 1 to 4 players, you play the role of an aristocrat controlling a small principality. You try to build a colony with powerful castles, trade, exploit silver mines and use the knowledge of travellers.
This timeless game is now back in a highly polished, top-of-the-range special edition, the result of a collaboration between Ravensburger and Awaken Realms.
In this special edition, you can expect a complete overhaul of the art and layout to ensure that each piece has beautiful art and enhances the usability of the game. Only the finest materials (cardboard, paperboard, box, insert, etc.) will be used to ensure endurance and a superior feel. Many additional elements will enhance the gaming experience, such as double-layered game boards, special bags for hexagons, 30% larger tiles or metal coins.
Châteaux de Bourgogne takes place in the Burgundy region of France in the High Middle Ages. Each player takes the role of an aristocrat, originally controlling a small principality. As they play, they seek to build settlements and powerful castles, trade along the river, exploit silver mines and make use of the knowledge of travellers.
The game consists of taking settlement tiles from the game board and placing them in their principality, which is represented by a Duchy board placed on the Player Board.
