Black Rose Wars: Rebirth is a competitive fantasy game of deck-building, strategy and combat taking place in the fast-paced universe of Nova Aetas in Italy. BRW:R is the second chapter of the Black Rose Wars series. 25 years later, after the last war, the mages are there, in the Lodge, to restore order. The pieces are broken and now it's time to rebuild them. The Black Rose is still there.

Each player is one of the powerful mages of the Order of the Black Rose who aspires to become the new Supreme Magister in order to gain the mighty power of the Artifact of the Black Rose and Forgotten Magic. Mages must fight, fulfilling the desires of the Black Rose and gaining strength with their spells until their power reaches the confining threshold of the prison to which they are exiled, to finally break free. Each mage has six schools of magic at their disposal, each with their own strategy to destroy their opponents and increase their power.

Mages compete in a modular arena of hexagons called “rooms”. They summon powerful creatures, cast destructive spells, or invent dark deceptions with their enchantments. After being killed, mages are immediately reborn, allowing them to return to combat without delay – although their death still nourishes the mages who caused it with energy.
