The plane launcher uses two rotating wheels. A large amount of energy is stored in the wheels as they rotate. When you slide your paper plane between the two, some of the energy is transferred to it and the plane is launched at high speed.
You can adjust the height of the plane launcher legs to launch the planes from different angles.
