Metal Earth - Premium Series - M4 Sherman

The M4 Sherman was the main tank used by the United States during the Second World War. It was named after General William Tecumseh Sherman. Production exceeded 50,000 units. Only the Soviet T-34 tank was produced in greater numbers during the Second World War. Although totally inadequate against the more heavily armed 56-ton German Tiger I and 72-ton Tiger II, its mobility, mechanical reliability and sheer numbers made up for their strategic disadvantages.
