Frosthaven - Folded Space (Ext) (Eng)

$7999

Note: the insert is designed for games with an external box size of 46.1 x 31.0 x 29.1 cm.

Official full-colour insert compatible with Frosthaven®. The design allows for both efficient storage and enhanced play. The trays can be used while the game is in progress, making them easy to set up and store. All card trays have space for pocket cards.

The rulebooks and scenario books are stored vertically at one end of the box, next to the stacked character and miniature boxes that the players are not currently using.

We recommend using FS-FROST with our optional FS-FHMAP map tile folder. When the four player trays are used, there is not enough space in the box to store the card tiles in the game box. They can therefore be stored and organised by type in the FS-FHMAP folder. You can also remove the four player trays (by storing your counters in the storage boxes) and replace them with the card tiles, allowing the whole game to be stored in the basic game box without lifting the lid. More information at the bottom of the page.

The insert comes with four optional player trays, which can be used if the game's card tiles are stored elsewhere. Each tray has slots for cards, slots for tokens and a recess at the top for the game board and sheet.

The tray at the top of the box holds the larger monsters, but can also accommodate up to four miniature boxes. If four boxes are added, there is room for just one box of the larger type. The card dividers supplied with the game are slightly too large for FS-FROST's mini insert card trays. That's why we've supplied eight new card dividers to fit the trays with each copy of the pack.

When you pack the game, note that the rule and scenario books are stacked vertically at one end of the box. Then place the remaining A4 sheets on the trays. Add the other four player storage boxes, the dials, the puzzle book and the element chart, as shown. Finally, place the five scenario flowcharts on top.

As mentioned above, if the player trays are removed, FS-FROST leaves enough space in the box for the map tiles. To do this, first add the last four character storage boxes next to the rules/scenario books. Then add the map tiles:

a. The smallest tiles (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 13) on the top of the map.

b. Then the medium tiles (8 & 10) with the side pegs in the slot on the terrain overlay board.

c. Finally, the large tiles (6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 16), as well as the dials and other pieces.

The scenario flowcharts then cover everything in the box.
