Once, the Empire waged a merciless war against the Witch-King, high priest of the Father of Monsters. The Empire prevailed, at the cost of its unity and ultimately its very existence. Imperial peace was followed by dark ages, fragmented domains, endless feuds, evil cults, ruin and grief.

Yet there is one imperial tradition that has not disappeared. From its forts and strongholds, the Patrol Corps tirelessly continues its ancient mission: to protect the inhabitants of the former empire, to explore the wilderness, to forge links between communities, to fight monsters, to find the Emperor's ancient treasures so that hope may one day be reborn.

Each scenario offers a rich and unique setting, with its own atmosphere, intrigue, allies and obstacles! Players are constantly faced with numerous choices at every turn: collecting resources, reinforcing your fortress, attempting to complete the mission order, facing communities and perishing in the surrounding areas... Meanwhile, the pages of the Chronicle gradually turn, revealing new challenges and adventures for the heroes!

Game principle

Oltréé is a cooperative narrative game in which players take on the role of Patrollers, whose mission is to protect the inhabitants of the ancient empire, explore the wilderness, forge links between communities, hunt down and fight monsters, and find the Emperor's ancient treasures so that one day, hope may be reborn.
